ITINERARY

From Florence or surroundings you’ll be transfered by van to Meleto where, after a guided tour at the medieval castle, you'll enjoy a Chianti Classico wine tasting in the winery. Then bike to the Abbey of Badia a Coltibuono - one of the most beautiful sites in the Chianti region, passing through the village of Gaiole where a stroll in the piazza is mandatory! At Badia a Coltibuono there is a wonderful restaurant overlooking the valley where you can stop for lunch from simple to gourmet. Afterwards, a rewarding downhill and one of the most scenic back roads in Tuscany, will take you back to Gaiole.
